I love this family oriented holiday!  In our small village area in the Ossipee Lake region, all is close to home.  Driving home from church, there is very little and easy going traffic.  Most of the stores are closed and one can enjoy the beauty and peacefulness.  It’s one of those times that you are so happy to be in the country; away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities.  If you are visiting in the Mount Washington valley, it all might seem romantic.  To the people who live here it is also romantic and even better than romantic.
